  • FDR won the third election (he's the only one who ever did that).
  • FDR was the president during the war until he died of a stroke.
  • FDR asked congress to goto war after the japanese attacked.
  • FDR won the first two elections but lost the third to Lindburgh. (not much else is said about him)

  • Flew from the U.S. to Paris by himself in 33 hours.
  • March 1, 1932, 20-month old Charles Augustus Lindbergh, Jr., was abducted by an intruder.
  • Lindburgh went to Germany an told U.S. about the air power Germany had.
  • he recieved a metal from the Nazi's during WWII for his flight
  • he refused to return it saying:"It seems to me that the returning of decorations, would be an unnecessary insult."
  • he preformed the famous flight.
  • his baby was taken.
  • Lindburgh went to Germany for "reconnaissance"
  • he recieved a metal from the Nazi's and refused to return it.
  • the big story changer is that Lindburgh became President beeting Roosevelt.

  • Dec. 7,1941 the Japanese imperial forces attacked Pearl Harbor killing 2,400 Americans and wounded another 1,200
  • Roosevelt declare's war on Japan
  • Germany declare's war on U.S.
  • Lindburgh keeps us ot of the war by making treaties with the Gremans and Japanese allowing them to continue there campaigns.

  • WWII was almost lost in the eastern front( Russia)
  • the Nazi campain used the military tec hnique called "blitzkrieg" or lightning war.
  • the attack was haulted though, when the Russain forces were able to mass at stalingrad and push the Germans back to the german boarder.
  • the russain winter also played a key role in the deterioration of the Nazi forces.
  • The war is almost over for the Allies when the Eastern front is attacked.
  • the Nazise attack swiftly.
  • they are stopped at Stalingrad because of the feirce winter and battles.
  • they seem to have taken slight casualties but are not pushed out of Russia and are going to continue the campaign.

* He joined the Nazi party in 1932
  • he also helped influance the "final solution" with the jewish community
  • he was made the foriegn adviser to Hitler in 1933
  • after the war he was condemned to death by hanging after his trial- he killed himself with cianide pills the night before

  • The Nazi general that was the foriegn policy adviser to Hitler.
  • he went to the White House for a dinner with the President to maintain the peace the two nations had.
  • he is seen to be just as bad as Himmler or other Nazi's by the Roth family

* he was very popular person (Jewish) that was on the radio
  • he never ran fo president
  • he was killed by prostate cancer at the age of 74
  • he was one of the first Americans to talk about the Nazi threat to the Jewish comunittee
* He is a very opinionated / popular person (Jewish)
  • after being fired from his radio station he ran for president against Lindburg.
  • when running he spoke out about how Lindburg ran the country.
  • many riots soon followed.
  • He was killed after being shot when giving a speech.
  • attacks Hitleers views over the radio.

* The Jewish community was outraged with the war in Europe, since the late 1930's
  • there were constant protests about the war from 1936-1944
  • no riots erupted from not entering the war sooner

  • in the book many people in the Jewish community are outraged by the actions of Lindburgh.
  • the other half agree's with his dicission to stay out of the war.
  • riots DID erupt after Lindburgh didn't go to war.
